Summary
Goal and scope of the summary:
To determine the relative GHG benefits of alternative fuels as compared to conventional petroleum fuels by using LCA

Life cycle assessments are being used in policy as a method to determine the relative GHG benefits of alternative fuels as compared to conventional petroleum fuels. However, there are still several aspects of biofuel LCA that contain large uncertainties, particularly agricultural emissions of N2O and GHG emissions arising from indirect land use changes.
The conclusion of this research is built by answering three main questions:
-INDIRECT LAND USE CHANGES
-TIME ACCOUNTING
-AGRICULTURAL EMISSIONS
